Roxys Qualitäten

Roxy ist eine temperamentvolle, sehr schnelle, knapp zweijährige Hündin, die seit diesem Jahr in der "Vinder"-Klasse (= Open Niveau) geführt wird. Sie stammt aus dem erfolgreichen finnischen Zwinger "Eagle Owl's" von Miso Sipola. Nicht nur Roxys eigene Gesundheitsergebnisse (HD A/A, ED 0/0, Eyes clear '07, Optigen clear durch Eltern), sondern auch die ihrer Wurfgeschwister sind durchgängig einwandfrei. Die Verbindung mit Bracket ist in vierter Generation Linienzucht auf FTCh. Aughacasla Sam of Drakeshead.

Ihre Besitzer Päivi und Jukka Hietaharju beschreiben Roxys Qualitäten folgendermassen:

"Roxy was already speedy in the whelping box and when a little bit older, she chased the tennisball and took game without hesitating. Although she is a very fast dog, she is very easy to train and does not show any problems with any kind of game.
At home Roxy is very calm and nice, but when Jukka puts his hunting dress and the dog whistle on, she is getting really excited. Nevertheless in the field or on tests, she is very calm, quiet and attentive.

Roxy is a healthy dog: hips are A/A, elbows 0/0 and eyes are ok (pra -> clear by parentage). Until now there weren't any signs of sickness or injurys although she is such a fast girl.

Roxy has been several times in pheasant shoots, where she is nice and quite whilst the drive is going on. She is a very good marker and works well on runners. So we have high hopes for her competing in Field Trials in the future.

Her working career began in spring 2007 (when she was nearly one year old) by passing the "qualified in the field test" (fin. "Nou1").
In the same year Roxy competed in some cold game tests (Nome-B), where she earned two times Alo-2 (fin. "Alo" = beginners class) and two times Alo –1, which means that she was the best dog of the test. In 2008 Roxy competed in two working tests in Open class (fin. "Avo" = intermediate class). The results were Avo-2 (second price) and Avo-1 (the best dog). And later on she went to the winners class (fin. "Voi") and her results were Voi-0 and Voi-3.
In cold game tests in the open class she got two times Avo-2 and then two times Avo-1 (which means that Roxy was the best dog). Because of those Avo-1 results, she is now qualified to compete in field trials."
